2022-2023 Season Audition Information
MYSO invites musicians to audition for the upcoming 2022-2023 season. The audition deadline is August 28, 2022 and can be submitted online. Please review our orchestra vacancies and audition steps below.
As part of our community’s ongoing COVID-19 mitigation measures, keeping our MYSO family safe during rehearsals/concerts and carefully welcoming back our wind & brass players is our top priority. MYSO will follow all mitigation efforts set forth by Lewis University outlined here, and students will be asked to report their vaccination status on the audition form.
Rehearsals take place at St. Charles Borromeo Convocation Hall at Lewis University, located at 101 Airport Road in Romeoville, on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-8:45pm on Wednesdays throughout the school year (September - early June).
Audition videos must be submitted for all returning and new musicians. Returning member submissions will be evaluated for chair placement, while new member submission will be necessary for acceptance into the orchestra.
